Current launch posture

TheCashCount launches without visible ads, advertising scripts, or optional analytics. Simply using the site is not treated as consent to future optional tracking.

The calculator does not need an account or an authentication cookie.

Cookies and local storage are different

Cookies are small values a site can send with later web requests. Browser local storage remains on the device and is not automatically sent with every request.

TheCashCount may use these device-local values:

a first-party language preference cookie so the site can keep a chosen Product Locale;
local storage for the light, dark, or system theme preference; and
local storage for versioned, per-currency Local Cash Sessions.

Local Cash Sessions contain Cash Count Data. They remain on the current device and are not analytics or advertising identifiers.

The initial public release does not set optional analytics cookies. If analytics are added later, TheCashCount will document the provider and purpose, exclude Cash Count Data, and request consent first where required.

The calculator will continue to work when optional analytics are refused.

Advertising

The initial public release does not set advertising or targeting cookies and does not load advertising scripts. Ads may be considered only after the full site launches and an advertising provider approves it.

Approval alone will not enable ads. The privacy and cookie disclosures, consent behavior, and placement safety must be reviewed before any advertising code is turned on.

Contact and hosting security

The Contact page sets no Contact-specific cookie or similar storage and loads no anti-bot or mail-delivery provider. Opening the email link hands control to your email application; no message is sent through this website. The hosting provider may still apply network-level security to ordinary page requests.

Your controls

Browser settings can display, block, or delete cookies and site storage. The calculator also provides controls to reset one Cash Count or clear all saved counts. Blocking a language preference may mean selecting the language again.

Changes and corrections

This policy will be updated before optional analytics or advertising cookies are enabled. The date above records the latest revision.
